&#8220;Jazzin the Park 2025&#8221;.<\/p><p>Set in the beautiful Georgian Park, which is Winckley Square Gardens, Jazzin&#8217; the Park 2025 has curated some of the finest local, national and international, Jazz and Jazz-fused artists.<\/p><p>Building on the previous year&#8217;s success, 2025 brings amazing artists to Preston City Centre for a FREE non-profit event designed to capture all tastes, generations and communities.<\/p><p>With support from Arts Council England, Preston Jazz &amp; Improvisation Festival, Jazzin the Park Productions, University of Central Lancashire, Friends of Winckley Square, Preston City Council and the Festival of Music &amp; Culture, we are delivering a final event designed by the community for the community.<\/p><p>Please join us on Saturday the 7th of June 2025, from 12:00 to 19:00hrs, at Winckley Square Gardens, for an afternoon of sublime music. He moved to London from Denmark in 1997 to study electric bass at The Musicians Institute. Recognizing his passion for the double bass, Jensen later transitioned to this instrument and furthered his education at the Royal Academy of Music.<\/p><p>Dave Smith is best known for his work with Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Fofoulah, and Afro-Blues group Juju. With his first album No Reino Dos Afetos (which translates to &#8220;In the Realm of Affections\u201d and was released in 2022), Berle firmly established himself as a unique and important voice in the burgeoning scene of new Brazilian artists making a global impact, including peers like Ana Frango El\u00e9trico, Tim Bernardes, Bala Desejo, Sessa and more. Now back with his second album, No Reino Dos Afetos 2, he stretches that further.<\/p><p>Bruno Berle\u2019s music lives between two worlds \u2013 a traditional Brazilian folk talent steeped in history, and a contemporary, dreamy electronic pop; the result is song writing that\u2019s genre-bending, intentional, iconoclastic and consuming, spacious and sinewy and singular, a striking reflection of its composer while leaving space for the listener to settle in.
